Dave Marcantuono loves hummus. He loves it so much that he thought that the common text lingo 'SMH' stood for 'some more hummus.' This led us to envision a company where the motto is essentially, "you can always have some more hummus." 
This project involves the brand creation of the SMH Hummus Company which includes a logo, food truck, menu, packaging design and social media advertisements.

The final logo utilizes thick strokes and small gaps to create a bold and striking logo. The chickpea replaces the letter O in "CO" and the red/orange color was chosen to create contrast and resemble paprika, a common spice used in mediterranean hummus. Quotes from Dave are placed all throughout the products, creating a humorous aspect for the brand.
